Two years ago for my 40th Birthday, I treated myself to lessons & certification. What an experience. My favorite dive so far is, also, my worst. A drift dive off the southern coast of Cozumel, visibility forever! Truly like swimming in an aquarium. The worst part were the jellyfish. Although I was covered from head to toe in wetsuit & booties, alas my hands were exposed, & I suffered the consequences of multiple stings all over both hands. I now own a pair of gloves...;)

Welcome aboard. Life aint worth living without a few jelly stings... Lets you know you've been diving.

Howdy and Welcome to SB.com!

Gloves are not allowed on Coz dives, so carry them in your BC pocket until needed. ;)

Click Forums at the top to start checking all the choices, and try our :search: feature. Hope you enjoy your time here. Click my Username to PM me if I can help? Helpful Hint: I have UserCP bookmarked as the page I go to first when I come onto SB.

Boy your a fast learner ... lol ... that really bites! I didn't think about gloves (warm water)when I was a newbie until my hands had cuts, scapes, skin missing and everything else. I think maybe the 3rd or 4th year I might have bought a pair. Your way ahead of my learning curve. Glad your here.
