I'm a Fish!
I was wondering if you guys could chime in on how ones equipment configuration would be for diving a SCR Rebreather the DIR way?

Diving with a SCR how does one set up their bailout regulator and their longhose donation regulator? What is the hose routing configuration ? Sorry about all the questions! :06:

Reguards,

Try the DIR thread. Conversely, maybe the Halcyon website:

Well i have done research and i do know about rebreathers and dive them, but i am curious as to how the Dir instrutors configure their rebreathers

Danny,

the subject of DIR and rebreathers has been discussed before.

Not "a SCR", never ever "a SCR". Alwasy, always The Halcyon RB80!!!
You'll find very good info on the RB80 on Halcyon's website, and a teardown at http://www.golemgear.com/scr/scrteardown.htm
Additional info at EKPP's website, I asume at WKPP's site, too.
db8us here on the board is one of EKPP's push divers and will be able to answer some questions in regard to configurations, theirs is frequently different than WKPP's. They dive dual rigs.

As this was also the subject of another discussion here on the board here another link: http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=48358&page=1

If you use the "search" function on the RB80, both here and at The Deco Stop, you'll find a bunch of people diving them, and writing about them.

As for instructors, you barely made the plural there. GUE is the only certifying agency, and only two are listed.
