I am going to puerto rico in mid march for the start of a cruise and will arrive a few days ahead of the family b/c of a meeting. I thought I would try to get wet but have never dove in PR. I have approx 50 dives logged over the past 2 years everywhere from the south pacific, coz mexico, grand caymen, florida keys, and St Thomas. I am not only looking for advice on where to dive but also where to stay. I arrive in San Juan on wednesday night so I thought I would stay over night there and get a rental car to drive where ever the best diving on the island exists. I would probably book an afternoon and night dive on thursday, morning and evening dives friday, and a morning dive on saturday b4 driving back to san juan to meet the family and hop on the cruise ship on sunday. Any advice would be swell.
