Divi Dive Bonaire is proud to announce that their youngest staff member Archuendro age 22 years, became a PADI open water scuba instructor during the last IDC/IE course held on Bonaire.
Archuendro was born and raised on Bonaire and always interested in Watersports. He started windsurfing at the age of 8 and started competing for the PRO level for the windsurf kids which gave him the opportunity to be part of the national Bonaire team and compete around the globe.
He finished his school with the specialty welding-electro mechanic and wanted to work and join a local dive operation to pursue his passion: becoming a dive professional.
Archuendro approached Divi Dive Bonaire to see if he would be able to enroll in a junior dive master training program and working on the dive boats of Dive divi at the same time. Dive operations manager Serge De Groote then started to train Archuendro. In no time he became a PADI divemaster.
I have never been so happy, being trained and coached by such a group of fantastic and passionate dive professionals as the Divi Dive Bonaire team, Archuendro stated. Furthermore he adds: it was hard work and I had a tough time but I thanks to Divi dive Bonaire who gave me the opportunity and all my colleagues who supported and assisted me so I was very confident and sure I pass the theory and practical exam.
The whole crew of Divi Dive is very proud of Archuendro who is a true example for the Bonairean youth to be part of the diving sector, for which Bonaire has been well known decades and hope that many young people will follow his footprints!
