Diveyak D-ring Problems

Has anyone had problems with the steel rings on their Diveyak? I have already had the one that the brass clip for the seat is attached to, break. I am a big guy but this should not happen. The ring on the other side has already developed a crack from corrosion and it is a matter of time before it goes.



Any suggestions on fixes for this ?

And the MFG should want to know so they can solve the problem.

Always check with the maker first before doing the DIY thing.
