Hola Scubaboarders - I know this is probably a long shot, but we would get the same answer if we didn't ask right? A pair of sunglasses flew out of the boat somewhere between Santa Rosa - ish and Columbia. Here is what they look like - Suncloud is the brand If you happen to find them, please contact me at info@bluextseadiving.com

Thanks so much!

Would they be floating on the surface or on the ocean floor?

I would assume at the bottom.

Also, I left a great pair at OXXO. They were Serengeti Flights. Left them right at the coffee bar. Damn morning cloudy head. I hope some lucky local is enjoying them!

Hmmm - I can't answer that for sure Ron, but good point. I bet they are at the bottom somewhere by now or on someone's head :)

Unfortunately, sunglasses quickly become either scratched if lost in shallow waters or overgrown with sea organisms if lost in the deep. I've found several but only two were good. One that I found in Lake Keowee, and one that someone forgot in our liveaboard cabin. But both were not Serengetis but cheap $12 types, not even polarized.

The big Groupers sporting the latest GoPros will have something new to fight over... Who gets to wear the new shades? !
