Does any one know if the NESN Program Divers Down is working on any new episodes. It seems as if I have been seeing the same shows for the past year or more.

no idea. the newest episode I saw was the DUI dog days event. though I imagine now the time to film around here, then hit the studio for some editing and touch-ups, maybe be readyin the spring for a new season (if any are planned)

would be interested to know what they plan to do with that show. It's a great concept, has a local following and a nice little show. Though I've always felt they could do "more" with it. great question, I'd like to hear more too. The show has got me thinking of planning a Nova Scotia trip...

Email Mark Stanton and ask.

You should look for a dive show called, "New England Underwater".... it is only on local access in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts.... wreck dives, local diving and not one bit of travel info!

Great show series about diving!

Hello

I was talking to Mark Stanton today and I mentioned that this thread existed and he sent me the following reply. He is very nice, down to earth local diver if you ever get a chance to talk to him.

Paul

Our most recent releases featured Bonaire, DUI Dog Rally, and a combo of
Palau and Truk Lagoon in Miconesia. I am currently in post production of
5 new programs for release as time allows in the coming weeks and
months. They include a fun episode about Eelgrass transplanting with the
folks at Save The Bay in RI, one called Fish and Turtle Soup - a play on
words featuring some great underwater footage, and Fresh Water finds - a
synopsis of some of our favorite inland dive sites, more from Bonaire
and Australia too!

We are shooting in Maine in August - if all goes well we'll capture some
great stuff for new releases next winter. Tropical opportunities are
being discussed now and include possible visits to Cayman, Aruba,
Australia and more.

DDTV is independantly produced and is solely funded by revenues
generated by advertising and sponsorship sales. NESN does not produce or
pay us for our programming. The number of programs released annually is
tied strongly to support from businesses who make use of the exposure
opportunities provided by airings of DDTV.

I appreciate all faithful viewers who have enjoyed our programming over
the years. We are fast approaching our twentieth season, and look
forward to continued success in bringing you "Worldwide Underwater
Adventure Travel".

Thanks.

OK that sounds great. I look forward to seeing new episodes every week and still watch the ones I have seen before. The reason i didn't ask directly was that their web site seems in need of updating it says they are entering the 17th season and a few links don't seem to work.

Thats why I came to this forum and once again I recieved a great answer.

Thanks
