you mean Rec Wing? Order it from LP did ya? Still trying to decide on whether to go Transpac or Transplate myself.

Yes, Rec Wing. No, I didn't ordered it from LP (too much for shipping to Croatia). I ordered it from DiveRite Express www.diveriteexpress.com with SS backplate and DIR harness. It was a little bit more then at LP but when shipping is added DRE was $100 cheaper. Also, LP doesn't have new DR backplates (polished with cam bands slots).

My DiveRite Rec has just arrived. I can't wait to pick it up.

I don't want this to look as advertising but I have to write it down. As I received the wing I realized that it was punctured. No obvious sign of damage but the air was leaking. I reported this to DiveRite Express and they sent me a new wing even before I packed the damaged one for return. The wing was probably punctured during the transport or at customs but Mark from DRE replaced it with no questions. Here in Croatia we are not used to such good service.

mike...I had the same question as you....I decided on the plate...

Check out... www.northeastscubasupply.com and the $449 package...
it is all DiveRite

I am also looking at the DR plate.. question for me is the harness. I like the Transpac harness but appreciate the simplicity of the standards. I am going to pool dive both and see which I like. Actually I am going to do a DR with Transpac harness and a Halcyon rig so I can try the different wings at the same time since I figure there is little difference between the plates. Whoever I go with I plan on getting the package since you get a better deal than piecemealing it...

I use there AL BP and standard wing with the standard harness. It's very comfortable and light to wear. They stand behind what they sell as well.
No complaint from here.
Good choice guys.

Sound like your DIR (DIVING IT RITE) I've been waiting to use that for so long. HEHEHE
One of these days we got to get together and stick our heads in a hole in the ground.
