Hi All,

Stupid question here. Looking to take the front cover off my second stages just to check that the diaphragm is clean and everything looks good, but I can't figure out how to get it off? I've tried twisting it or looking for anyway to pry it open, but can't seem to make it work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dan

....looking for anyway to pry it open...

Yikes! Don’t do that, my brother.

It unscrews. Try using a non-sharp object to help provide leverage in one of the tool ports on the very outer edge of the front cover.

Should just unscrew. If it’s being stubborn, one of those soft silicone or rubber gripper things they sell at Bed Bath & Beyond for opening jars should work fine.

Yeah, seized plastic parts always give me pause, learnt the hard way. Glad you got it off, usually a good soak in hot water does the trick too.
