All,

I found myself in possession of a second-hand Rec Wing. What I have installed on the wing is most certainly a bungee - it stretches very well and does not limit max inflation.

I read the manual and what is described there is a cord - and it is supposed to limit max inflation to 30 pounds of lift. This tells me that it should not stretch too much, if at all.

Am I misunderstanding something, or did the previous owner replace the original cord?

Thanks!
Bart

No, it's a bungee, and what you have is a decent double tank wing and an absolutely horrible single tank wing, so if you're thinking of using it for single tanks, reconsider.

So it really is a bungee! I guess I gave to tighten it a lot more.

For now, I am stuck with the Rec Wing and no, I will not be diving doubles anytime soon. But I got it for free! :D

Thanks!
Bart
