DiveRite Oklahoma Tech-Tour Event Canceled

I wanted to be sure and get the word out to as many folks as possible...


Due to recent weather events and the resulting poor local diving conditions in the Oklahoma area, the DiveRite Tech-Tour Event originally scheduled for June 7 & 8 at Lake Tenkiller has unfortunately been postponed indefinitely.

We are investigating several alternative opportunities and will keep you informed as things progress. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion.


Please note that the May 31 & June 1 Tech-Tour at Lake Jackson TX is still on schedule, as is the September 20 & 21st Event at Clear Springs Scuba Park Terrell TX.

Bummer Troy and I were planning a "ride and dive" weekend that because of the DR event and great motorcycle riding around Lake Tenkiller. Maybe next time!!

Still working on alternate locations, including possibly Austin. How about the one in Lake Jackson? It's not too far, we have a LOT of cool stuff to see and use, and it's a nice weekend ride (outside the big cities, anyways)

Why not move it to the end of the tour?
Tenkiller: Elevation 4 ft. above normal, water 72 and clearing

Thanks, guys, for the interest in the Tech-Tours. It's our way of getting the stuff out there for you to see and try. The concept is going-over very well and we're looking at even more venues for the future.

Yes, we will have Nomads (as well as the rest of the DiveRite gear line-up) at CSSP for you to try in September.

Re-scheduling TenKiller to the end of the Season has been looked-at, but as you can imagine it's a big undertaking to coordinate timing and all with the other Tour locations. Wow, TenKiller is clearing that fast? I was told it would be mid-summer 'at best' before we get back to normal. Heck, maybe I'll just meet you there anyway!
