I want to purchase a DiveRite canister setup for cavern/cave diving. I think I go with the 10 Watt HID but not sure on battery size. 4.5 or 9. Advice Please.

In batteries bigger is better, same with wattage though. I have the 10W and it was a great light when I first got it. Now that all my buddies have 18 or 24W it might as well be halogen, I have such gear envy.

I like my MR11 head (today's equivalent is the SunSpot) since it's so compact. I've tried using bigger light heads but they always seem cumbersome. I also prefer Dive Rite's handle over the Goodman ones.

As for canisters I like the SlimLine, again because it's really compact. If you go with a 10W head you probably will not need the 9Ah battery, so might as well get the SlimLine.
