Scuba diver injured in motor boat accident
A 40-year-old scuba diver was left in a critical condition after being struck by a boat when he resufaced in the sea off Los Gigantes in Tenerife.

The man was airlifted to Candelaria hospital for emergency treatment. There is confusion as to the cause of the incident, with the owner of the boat saying that no marker buoy was in place.
