Someone reported it to the USCG and they issued the call.

I know the Pan Pan call was eventually canceled so the issue was resolved or they determined it was a fake, etc.

Hmmmm....hopefully all is well.

My buddy was diving Avery point once and all he did was wave to his freind on shore. It happens 2 police were on a picnic table and saw him waving. Well the emergency response team went into action. It could have been one of those.
