Diver in distress near Marblehead last night?

I heard the "Pan Pan" call on the VHF last night while working in Boston Harbor. I monitored until the emergency call was cleared.

Anyone heard anything about this?

No... do you recall the name of the vessel issuing the call?

Someone reported it to the USCG and they issued the call.

I know the Pan Pan call was eventually canceled so the issue was resolved or they determined it was a fake, etc.

Hmmmm....hopefully all is well.

My buddy was diving Avery point once and all he did was wave to his freind on shore. It happens 2 police were on a picnic table and saw him waving. Well the emergency response team went into action. It could have been one of those.
