Made this. Here is a link to all the parts. Hopefully someone else can enjoy too.

Looks good in a pool. What happens when waves and wind hit it?
You need to add some weight to the it. Take some webbing, crisscross it and add your anchor in the middle. Or however you decide is best.

Towing something like that with a weight hanging down is going to get old quick. If you are in one place it should be fine.

Oh I see. This wasn’t intended to be towed all the time in my mind. Maybe towed to your diving location off the beach and then anchored in place.
I know people have used inner tubes and milk crates for a long time so I am sure you can do something to make this setup easy to tow. I guess if your towing, you’d be the anchor. The flag pole can easily be set to height as it can be slid in the mount. That would reduce any tipping tendencies. My version has a 6 foot pole for visibility.

How do you keep it from tumping over on the flag/pole heavy side?

When your towing a marker, you just clip it to a rear D-ring?

I will clip my flag when towing till I hear boats. Then it quickly comes unclipped. No need to be dragged by some numskull who thinks they found a wayward dive flag....
