A 71 year old diver died Sunday March 4, 2007. Word has it they were diving at River of Sands when the diverseperated from the group. He was found floating on the surface. Despite efforts at CPR, he was later prononced dead.

This is the second diver death in East End within the past year. The other death was of an Open Water student at Tortuga Divers on July 19, 2006.
