"Man dies while diving at Wolf Rock, Double Island Point

Anyone who locates dive equipment washed up on a beach or in water nearby is asked to contact police."

"The man’s dive equipment, including a black buoyancy control vest and white air tank, was left in the water at the site."

Really sad news, especially for his wife, family, and the other divers 🥺

I went to Rainbow Beach with my daughter last month, to dive Wolf Rocks for my birthday, and was probably my best ever dives. It really is a beautiful part of the world, and the deceased was doing something he enjoyed at the time of his departure 🙏

"Wolf Rock Dive" is the only dive centre that goes to the Wolf Rocks dive site, and my experience with them was very positive. Very clear and concise dive briefing, and all dives are on Nitrox.
