I want to get my son and I a diver communication system. I haven’t been able to find much reviews/recommendation on the few systems out there. Can anyone recommend any systems?

Why would you ever want a communication system? I dive so I don't have to hear people talk. If you learn the signals in most open water manuals you should be able to get by fine, people do major cave exploration using just light and hand signals.

I have found that if you dive together long enough you will develop a short hand comms system.

Maybe a DIY solution. I found this in with a reg manual I had from 1970 but I never tried to make one.
