hello there
i´m travelling not in central america and i´m thinking about doing my divemaster in utila.
i wanted to know what do you say about the facility level over there and if there are some dive clubs that are more recomended than others.
also i wanted to know if it is possible to find a job as a divemaster in utila, or if there is some place else recomended in central america to rork/ do the dive master.
Thanks in advance

Have a look at Roatan as well, I don't know about finding work as a DM in Utila but I do know many DMs working in Roatan. The turnover of staff makes it very possible to get a job. Some get lucky some don't, it really depends how well you take to it.

I am heading down to Roatan in January to do my divemaster. I have spent a ton of time researching both Utila and Roatan. There are pro's and con's to both, however Roatan really stands out to me. I would love to work down there after my divemaster, but know that jobs may be limited. Just make sure you do your research before you go. I chose Coconut Tree divers in the west end. I emailed a number of people who highly recommend them, and they seem very professional yet fun. Mike M
