Depends on the housing, but the point of a 400D is that you can have real lenses that do the whole job, no need for an add on.

If you bought the wet lenses and then moved up to the Canon 400d, you would not reuse them, you'd either sell them or keep the point and shoot as a backup.

Divefish, I really liked your website. It is obvious that a lot of work went into developing it. I would agree with the others suggestions. I'm not sure if you have a strobe, but I would suggest that if you don't, you get one. I would also Scott's suggestion regarding getting a close-up and wide angle lenses.
