A NDL assumes you are adding nitrogen up to some limit, it is how long until you get there at the current depth. If you go shallower then it takes longer to reach the limit so the NDL number gets bigger. However, once you hit that limit you need to remove some gas before surfacing, that happened enough only once you got to 10m. Once you have a NDL again, ie are actually under the limit, going shallower will make the NDL number bigger as it takes longer shallower to add the nitrogen to hit the limit.

Once you have exceeded your NDL you need to follow appropriate procedures, that involves some training you seem to not have.
