Thanks for the good information. I think I'm leaning on staying in Cozumel for 2 days of diving and taking the ferry to PDC for the 3rd day. Is it feasible to take an early ferry from CZM and to do a cenote dive and also do a afternoon dive ocean dive at PDC or Akumal, then ferry back to CZM?

Yep it sure is feasable. The ferry ride is about 45 minutes. Look up the departure times since they change with the season. Also you'll probably need to be well coordinated with a dive shop. I'm sure there are a lot of good dive shops at PDC, but the one I would suggest would be SeaLife. They would probably pick you up at the dock and transport you around. I would also suggest that you may want to do an ocean dive first followed by the Cenotes. Unless you decide to do Angelita (100 ft) most cenote dives are about 35 ft. Plus since the cenotes are extremely clear fresh water your equipment gets a good cleaning. Good luck on your decision.

Try Wet Set Divers in Puerto Morelos (www.wetset.com). I stayed at Paradisus a year and a half ago and dove with Paul and Wet Set all week. They're on the south side of Puerto Morelos about a 5 minute cab ride from the resort. Highly recommended.

Anyone have any info on consumables available in the Mayan Riveria? I'm specifically looking for HP oxygen (>2000psi) and sofno-lime. Also any recommendations for a cave instructor? I'll be staying at the Paradisus Riviera resort.
TIA

If i were you, i would go for:
1. Cenotes
2. Cosumel.
but its' just me...

I second the 1. Cenotes and 2. Cozumel.

Diving the cenotes a few years back got me hooked, now I am full cave cert. and live south of Playa del Carmen, just so I can dive in the best caves in the world each and every day I feel like it. In the last 8 weeks I have 2 ocean dives (in Coz.) and about 45 cave dives.
