Dive the Morgan 3-09-08

Here's the chance to dive 1 of the top dive sites in Va. Beach. Lynnhaven Dive Center
Lynnhaven Dive Center - scuba diving lessons classes equipm is setting up a trip to the Morgan on the strength of 5 or 6 divers from Richmond or someplace up north.
I am going to Wilmington Friday to hunt for some Meg teeth on Saturday, but I should be back about 10 pm so I am thinking about doing the double & hitting this also. Hey I can always sleep on the way out.
Last year we did the Morgan on April 01 & had the best vis of the year, in excess of 50 ft. We seem to get better vis with a slightly cooler water temps.

What are the water temperatures like? The Morgan is definitly on my list of wrecks to dive and this seems like a great time if I am free (which is doubtful), but I can always hope.

I haven't been out here for a while, but would figure low to mid 40s. Perfectly balmy

Thats close to tropical. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it, but I wont know for sure until Saturday. Good luck finding some big Meg teeth.

Well the weather will keep me from finding any teeth, trip canceled, so hopefully this 1 will go.

They are going to try again next weekend.
