I'm staying in Sailsbury MA for a week in June. Anyone have a suggestion for a close dive site (Shore dive)? Preferably in MA as I have my lobster license.... Thanks

I would suggest the cape ann area. The diving is great and there is a good deal of variety to choose from. Look through this site www.divenewengland.com to pick out some sites that suit your skills, goals, and the weather. This site has good descriptions of the sites and when they are best dove (the mit site above is good aswell). Some sites are better than others at certain tides and in certain weather conditions. It may be a good idea to call a few local lds to check on what is good when you get in town, cape ann divers is very close to many of the dive sites and usually knows what is up, but pretty much any dive shop north of Boston will probably be able to help. Good luck. You will have a good time.

PG Dive website has a nice map and brief explanation of most of the dive sites on Cape Ann. CAD website has same thing. PG also runs a guided shore dive on the weekends during the summer. Other area clubs and shops do the same thing. IMHO, dive either Folly Cove, OGB or Pebble Beach for starters. All have relatively easy entry/exits, have pretty good parking situations(as far as CA goes) and you might be able to get a few lobsters. Also, try Front or Back Beach for ease of parking/entry/exit, but probably no bugs. Good luck.
