Looking to download all the dive sites so I can clean them up and pop them into my Subsurface (and share the cleaned and enriched file.

Does anyone have a proper export of scuba-sites.com or similar I can use? Currently using a AI agent and its terribly slow.

For what area? Surely you do not mean globally!

Yeah, globally. Its about 1000 records on scuba-sites and I know there are way way more, hence I want to clean it, enrich it and then use it but also share it out (even to scuba-sites)

I do not think the info you are looking for exists. Lots of dots on maps, but not GPS positions.
Even if you use the coords for the dive sites in the Reef.org database, there are discrepancies.
And some sites have several different names.
And what does the coord even mean? The start of a drift dive in Cozumel? the end? The middle? The position of a mooring (which changes...)?

yeah its available on scuba-sites.com and a few others. All user generated.
LOL. I've been to a lot of those sites on scuba-sites. Some of the names are wrong, no info on what the location (to 6 decimal degrees? seriously?) means. No curation of the info. GIGO.
How do you handle multiple inputs (all different) for the same site?
Have fun.

Yeah, globally.
Like Florida? Would you like 4500 sites/records in an Excel spreadsheet with Name, depth, date, lat, long, town/county ? Like all GPS numbers, you still need a sonar/bottom finder after using this list to get you closer.

Gents - you are overthinking this. A sitemap is a great thing and yes, there is a lot of quality issues with the current stuff, so why not try and fix it just a little. If you dont have a list or cannot assist then refrain from commenting :D

I am going to continue to contribute, whether you like that or not. :)
Underthinking is also to be avoided.
If you want to improve what is out there, and add to, please try and curate the information so users of your effort are not misled.
Thousands of suspect sites and names are not really helpful.
For example, in Bonaire, STINAPA has coords for all of its dive sites. which I would trust a lot more than some random dude with a cell phone.
