Dive Shops near the Riviera Maya

Hi all,

I will be staying at the Aventura Spa Palace in the Riviera May and looking to get cavern certified, maybe more. Can anyone recommend any good dive shops for getting certified? Thanks.

We've been to Aventuras three times in the past five years, and each time we have dove with Dive Aventuras.

We have never taken lessons through them, but have seen groups of students in the Omni Pool (they are housed at the Omni). I suggest contacting Nils or Debbie and checking out what they offer.

We have stayed twice at the Catalonia and once at a condo in town, and when were at the Catalonia, they picked us up, and divers from the Spa Palace as well.

I'm with scubawife. I did my Full Cave with Dennis; he is an excellent and meticulous instructor, as well as an extremely nice man. If he is unavailable, you could contact Steve Bogaerts, who is also an excellent instructor.
