I have never encountered such a problem with my rig

You guys were all right- I just needed some experience with the rig. I put it all back the way it came with the exception of pulling the bungees tighter and all it took was some time and adjustment. Thanks for all the good feedback, it helped.

For single tank diving, make sure the gusset control cord is in the last (bottom?) hole, so that it is at it's tightest...

This will reduce the amount of air that can be added to the wing.. I never experienced the issue you stated, unless the gusset cords were not in the same holes on each side...

trans pac with same wing after 5 dives with the rig you will automatically compinsate

It sound like you have it fixed but another option is to unzip the top of the wing and take a look at the bladder at the cross-over. It will have to fold a bit just to fit in the shell but it shouldn't have any major kinks that would hinder air transfer between the sides. Over time, just using the wing would probably fix any binds but if you having problems, it is worth a look.
