Would a Dive Rite Rec wing be acceptable for DIR?

Yes and no. If you leave the gusset cords on it then, no. If you remove it then yes, but it will be too big for a single tank.

doesn't that wing also have a pull dump? I replaced mine to a non-pull dump on my trek wing.

It's the shape of the wing. The rec wing is a horseshoe shape. I have one and it's nearly as large as a 55 # explorer wing. The 45# Halcyon wing is donut shaped. Look at the Halcyon or Oxycheq webpage and you can see the difference between the basic shape of their single vs double wings.

No it doesn't. The gussets cause the fold over and trap air. Not a lot of air but it still traps some. I posted some pictures of this before.

You need to replace the elbow that connects the corrugated hose to the wing. It will set up back about 7 bucks. Check www.diveriteexpress.com or your local dealer.
