Would a Dive Rite Rec wing be acceptable for DIR?

It's the shape of the wing. The rec wing is a horseshoe shape. I have one and it's nearly as large as a 55 # explorer wing. The 45# Halcyon wing is donut shaped. Look at the Halcyon or Oxycheq webpage and you can see the difference between the basic shape of their single vs double wings.ScoobieDooo:OK,
So is this because of the size of the wing or the fact that the wing has 47# of lift?
Halcyon has a 45# Pioneer Wing.
????
No it doesn't. The gussets cause the fold over and trap air. Not a lot of air but it still traps some. I posted some pictures of this before.ScoobieDooo:Ah, again, a manufacturers ploy to make a wing 'all purpose.'
Just doesn't work, does it?
You need to replace the elbow that connects the corrugated hose to the wing. It will set up back about 7 bucks. Check www.diveriteexpress.com or your local dealer.ScoobieDooo:Wendy,
Yes - Is this something I can do MYSELF? DO I have to buy other parts of just disconnect something?
