Still for sale. Time to replace an O2 sensor (I replace one every 3 months), and down to 6 extend air cartridges.

Hi John,
As i might be interested, or at least strongly thinking about it :D ("might" as in trying to break into rebreathers but still have to clear some things...like CE since i am in Europe), would you have time to answer a few questions? Would you prefer a DM or post here?

Thanks,
m

I will answer any questions that you have, and on here is fine as someone else may have the same questions.

Perfect, thank you! Apologies in advance if some questions might sound silly, a bit noobish to the CCR world.
So let's begin:
1) So the bundle would effectively have sort of a 2 rebreather configs (with one core), CM and "normal" (as in not classic) O2ptima. Do i understand this correctly?
2) Other than NERD, were there any other extras/upgrades over the standard versions? (if such exist...not really sure as Dive Rite website is sadly missing some configuration)
3) Are the computers Peter 2 and NERD 2 ? Or Petrel 1/NERD 1?
4) What 1st stage is on the CM, XT1 or FT1 ?
5) Do you know if the CM is the latest revision? (Manual seems to suggest last one was October 2020)
6) Are the gauges purely Imperial or Metric as well? (i.e. would i need to exchange them :D )
7) Did the units do lots of diving since you posted the ad? Just curious how different the state is to the original pics.
8) Would you consider splitting tanks? i.e. If i understand correctly (though confused af googling those imperial size tanks), these would be a no no around Europe. Though still waiting for a few clarifications from Dive Rite. Also i assume you have meant HP 32s ?

Thanks again!

1 - Correct, one head unit and computers to configure as either a CM or normal O2ptima.
2 - Yes, Nerd 2 , other major upgrade was the DiveSoft BOV + MAVs + ADV. Very nice unit. About an $1800 upgrade. It is used in the normal O2ptima mode. Could be used with CM but I did not. Also added various covers and caps. I like things tidy.
3 - Petrel2 and a Nerd2. Both from 2020 and current firmware.
4 - The CM has is a FT1 and the normal mode O2ptima are XT1s.
5 - It is the latest version. purchased in DEC 2020. There have been no changes since.
6 - All 3 gauges are BAR.
7 - So far I have not dove it since the add. I do have a cave trip planned for mid july, but would leave the CCR and go OC if the unit is sold.
8 - Tank sizes. I am not familiar with CE rules or measuring, but the tank sizes are (2) Aluminum 3000 psi oxygen tanks 12 cubic feet (1.9L) made by Catalina size S13. and (2) Steel 2400 psi tanks 1 O2, one Diluent, LP 27 cubic feet (4.0L) made by Faber size SP27.
I will add some photos.

I can add any other detail photos you would like. No trouble at all.

To all who have inquired or corresponded with me about this rebreather I have a local buyer wanting to purchase. It may be sold tomorrow. If it does I will mark the ad accordingly. Thanks for your interest.
