Dive Rite LED 500 corded Soft goodman handle?

Hi,

I'm thinking about purchasing the Dive Rite LED 500 corded to be my primary backup as well as a gloveless warm water or shallow dive "can" light. Does anyone know if there's some sort of sock or soft goodman handle that I can purchase somewhere that will fit this for that use?

The light head is the same diameter as all the HID light heads and any standard soft goodman handle will work. Try this link:

I have this type of handle from OMS and personally I don't like it. The handle actually has a quick release and on the palmar side of the handle and a nylon adjuster directly on the side. You have the ability to cinch the strap in two places with this configuration, but I don't see an advantage over an all metal Goodman handle.

Nevertheless, if you want the one I have, it has never been wet and I will give it to you for say, 17 USD (15 USD+2 USD shipping). Just shoot me a PM.

Well this will mostly be a backup light used in just a regular stick configuration. I just want to turn it into canister mode on warm water trips. I figured a metal goodman would be too big for a gloveless environment. My primary in cold water is a Salvo 21 HID as of yesterday! That has a metal goodman. If I buy the dive rite, I will def pick that up from you! Thanks!

They did have the light on sale, complete kit with aluminum handle and case for 399. Love mine, love the aluminum handle. Works well as a mini can light, works well as a compact very bright hand light. More than sufficient light for night diving, in fact, this maybe the best night diving light out there.
