+1 on replacing that velcro strap with a cam band.

Is there a local DiveRite supplier in Thailand?

There is, that is where I ordered it from. That is a great idea, I will shoot them a message. I had been emailing back to the US.

The reason I mention this is that I bought a wing direct from DiveRite when I was in Florida a few years back and there was a problem where the LP hose connected to the bladder which I only discovered after a couple of dives once I was back in UAE.

I informed DiveRite and took it to the local dealer here in UAE where is was all sorted FOC and been working fine since.

After explaining and sending video, he is sending me a replacement, different type strap. Fingers crossed. I will update.

Fixed! Just like everyone said, and the reason we bought Dive Rite BCD's, the customer service was fantastic. Dive Rite Thailand sent a replacement strap next day. Thank to all for you advice and help!

I'm considering the Hydrolite and came across this post. @krungthep - did DiveRite replace the strap with another velcro strap? Or with a cam buckle?
