[font=바탕]Hi,

Some members mentioned about Dive Rite Express EtherFill™ 5000 system.

http://www.scubaboard.com/t22614-.html

“Download the gas fills from the internet directly into your cylinder, using the Etherfill 5000”

However, I am still confused how it works. What does it mean by then?

Seriously, is there anybody who is using this system at home?

Please share your experience.

Thanks in advance,

Are you serious?!?!?!?!

It's a JOKE !!!!

It probably started as an argument between two members of the board, one who is adamant about supporting the local dive shop and the other who is an avid internet shopper.

Reel him in boys, I think we've got a keeper :eyebrow:

DiveRiteWebsite:
In some reports of compatibility issues with the EtherFill 5000. The problem seems to be that the network congestion management algorithm shuts down the entire Internet, thus causing the download to hang. If you order the EtherFill 5000 while we are pondering how best to resolve this minor issue, we will send you a gift item of our choice, yours to keep.
I think I might need to order this now. I'm willing to wait for them to work out the issues. Is it kind of like giving the internet the bends? Might be too much nitrogen in the lines.

I'm seriously thinking about ordering it to see what they send me for the gift. If they were that creative and put that much effort into the 'item' I would hope the 'gift' would be slightly imaginative. It would be worth the 12 dollars just to hear what they say!!!! (I too need a dive plan.)

It's the perfect xmas gift for all the cyberdivers on this board. Now they can spend more time posting, since they won't have to waste time to empty the tanks, go to the LDS, get a fill, come home, empty the tanks, go the LDS, get a fill, come home, empty the tanks...

A nice ad-on is the virtual reality reefdiver download that let's you breathe off the tank at your computer while you explore the reef in SVGA. Your spouse just turns the hose on you to make it a Cat5 simulator. PADI is going to release this program for getting your cert without getting out of the house.

You sir are brilliant. This is the best thing I've read this morning! Thank you.

I just downloaded my hypoxic trimix cert over the net. i'm filling my tanks with 10/55 (backgas), 50/50 and O2 through the etherfill 5000 system right now. i'm planning on heading out this weekend to discover and dive the U-576 (400-500 fsw).

it'd sure be a pain in the *** if i actually had to leave my house to do any of this....
