Evening all! I am off to bed but, after rinsing and hanging all the gear, had a few to do some identification on the photos I took diving on Monday. I haven't done a full report, but thought I would post some of the photos that I took during my dive at "Chains" (is that the correct site name, Ron?).

I hope to have the photos from the 1st dive of the day (Aumentos) posted sometime tomorrow evening, and possibly a more detailed report. Anyhow, enjoy the few below, I've posted more in the album.

Anyone else posting any reports, photos, etc. from this weekend?

Great photos Sarah! can't wait to see Rons and the rest of yours!

My pictures are terrible..:bncry:..Can't seem to get the bluish glow in the background nor the hill in the background like how Robert and Allison has it, now I'm falling into a sad depression....but at least it was colorful at Ballbuster on Monday and the metridium fluff out in happiness. :D

fixed!

Nice photos! We had talked about doing Ballbuster, but didn't have the coordinates for it. I would love to get out there sometime though!

your pictures are getting much better. are you shooting in manual mode? One thing to consider is if the conditions are dark they are dark, and no camera magic is going to fix that. For example:

It's just dark.

That being said, as a general rule, you can lighten the background by dropping the shutter speed lower. You can also widen your aperture (go to a lower f-stop), but this will also affect your foreground exposure (so you may have to adjust position or power of your strobe(s)) as well as depth of field. Play around with different settings and see what you get.
