Dive Report - Paddy Hopping with freedivers

I was fortunate to be invited to document freedivers attempting to spear some yellow tail. A lot of effort was put in, but none were found. Except at the last paddy visited, three of us saw a very large yellow tail, 34 lbs. 46" long. He didn't get that big by being stupid. He evaded all hunters, with spear and camera. It's always a treat to dive under the free floating kelp paddies and see the ecosystem it supports. These guys are very selective in what they spear.

Very nicely cut, Waltermarti, and the music is perfect! The part I liked best was the sunfish cruising by for a few seconds.
