Thought I'd report in with recent conditions. I managed to sneak
a dive in before work today at Old Garden Beach. Water temp was between 39 and 41. Vis was pretty poor, probably 5 - 10 feet max. I was in for about 45 minutes, and was glad to have the drysuit and dry gloves on! Saw a few lobster, including one potential keeper that I managed to let get away :-(

I'm hoping to start more regular early morning weekday diving. Let me know if you're interested in joining in!

I dove this afternoon off Cohasset: temp down here was a toasty 42degs, but, vis was excellent at 20'+

Did you guys see any sealife? I hear Cathedral Rocks has a lot of life even in the winter.

Where in Cohasset did you dive? The only shore site I know that's decent is Sandy Cove.

Were you diving from a boat?

Dove Cath Rocks a few weeks ago (3/21) It was a friday conditions were ideal (high tide, sunny, no wind, calm) and weekend was going to suck that had to take time off from work.

It was worth it.. Clearest vis I've had there in a while 50+ I did see a lot of those thingies that cling onto rocks to feed (nudibrancs?) Still cold back then as water temp was 42 on surface, 38-39 at depth. Though I don't like the hiking to transport gear, it's still my favorite site on Cape Ann. Anyone willing to go, pls. let me know. Always looking for people that share the same passion for Cath as me.
