Friday May 6th 2011 we headed out for day one of two days of spearfishing, was pretty snotty going out so we did one dive and headed back to the dock. Viz was around 15 ft.
Saturday May 7th 2011 we set out back to the Kona HiLola and tied in, sun was out and seas were for the most part flat with 1-2 ft ground swell. Viz was around 25 ft at 50 FSW and temps were around 51 degrees. Returned back to the dock after two dives and limiting out on some nice Tog.
Sunday May 8th 2011 was a last min 20 mile run out to the Washingtonian Wreck in 90 FSW (Zone 4), again the seas were flat with a light N wind, made it out to the wreck in about an hour. Got hooked in and the viz was a nice 30+ ft, bottom temps were around 48 degrees. Surface temp was around 53 degrees. After one dive at the Washingtonian we headed south to hit the Kathleen Riggins. As always she held a nice amount of Tog, viz was still around 30 ft and temps at 50 FSW were in the low 50s. Another day of great OC diving!
