I dove Saturday (@McAbee Beach) and Sunday (off the Beachhopper 2 at the Pinnacles and Stillwater cove off the 17th green at Pebble Beach). We had good dives both days. Both had their really neat moments. I'm really starting to love the McAbee Beach dives since the seals followed us around on both dives. It's starting to become one of my favorite dives since I always see more sea creatures than Breakwater. I did find myself being the only one who had dove McAbee, so I was designated as the leader/navigator (and because I was the only one who brought a compass). I got us close to shore both times, but....a little farther down than intended. Both times required a little bit of a surface swim. I have videos, that I'll upload later but here are a couple of them.

Sunday's dives were good too. The dive at the Pinnacles was nice, but short. I was diving with LP80s instead of my HP100s so the bottom time didn't last as long. We saw lots of fish (too many to name), but I notably saw a 2.5 - 3 foot lingcod on our second dive that I tried to show to my dive buddies, but they were too excited about golf balls. :) My buddy brought a compass so I loaned mine to our other buddy team. We went the wrong direction on the second dive and Mr No-sense-of-direction (me) actually got us back to the reef, so it made up for the day prior. Later on the way back to the dock, I found out that one of the divers (RoyN) in another group (I actually think he was by himself) saw an angel shark and took some decent pictures. I wish we would have come out near the anchor line. :) Oh well. Either way I had lots of fun.

Enjoy!

incredible anemone shot! the vis was quite nice this past weekend.

Yep that Angel Shark. Looks cooler on a bigger screen. :)

The boat operators were joking about putting some type of limiter on your air since you seemed to breath like you have gills. :)

My dive time average is about 30 to 60 minutes, but then I'm also limited by my bottom time even though I was using nitrox. I think you're the guy I talked to that I liked your Smart Z computer and was ranting on if I had $300 then I could get it. Anyways, hope I see and dive with you again. :)

I didn't took that long did I? :confused2

You were out about 20 minutes later than everyone else. :) It was all good, you were diving Nitrox and you looked like you had 100s too, so you might have had significantly more air than everyone else. Or you could just be a fish. :) But, hey that's a compliment. :)
