The only bad news from the dive was that nashvegas (?) had a home made camera housing which did not last very long, I'd guess that it was leaking right after we got to 20-30 feet and tied in the dive flag as I took this picture and today noticed this. But after we went to depth and returned shallow he said the back popped from the pressure and completely flooded it. Watch out JHAYES75! :shocked2:

Notice it looks like water is already in the case:

What kind of plug did he use on the back? I did some experimenting and you cant use any lubricant on the O rings. I also had the machinist at work cut a groove for an additional O ring seal on the back. Looking at this picture, I will add some latches to the plug. So far I have four dives with an avg depth of 65' with no leaks.

I used a 4" pressure test plug on the back. Don't think it is the culprit. I think it leaked around the lens somewhere.

Well after reading about your mishap with your camera housing, I have decided to modify my original design. I brought in some help from the machine shop at work. Went with a double O-ring design with clasp and got rid of the pressure plug. I have tested this camera to 130fsw for an hour with no leaks. I also added a rear site glass.
