Try Scuba
An event for those with disabilities or adaptive needs. Located at the Boys & Girls Club of Newport, this FREE seminar is being offered to help expose the exciting sport of SCUBA to disabled individuals who may be interested in enrolling in follow-on diver certification training. The doors are open to ALL who would like to feel the freedom from gravity that diving has to offer.
Teaching people to dive is both a joy and a privilege. We are constantly in awe of those able to overcome the hurdles life puts in their path We therefore, teach with a sense of pride knowing that the lives we touch will be forever altered
This worthwhile effort is being supported by a wide verity of local businesses and individuals. Major contributors to this event include Scuba Depot of Warwick, Newport Diving Center and Ocean State Scuba of Jamestown, RI. HSA Instructor Training Course

The Living Seas at EPCOT, Walt Disney World - Orlando, FL
Cost: $475.00
Several local divers are headed to EPCOT this November to attend HAS Instructor, Dive Master, and/or Dive Buddy training for divers with disabilities. Divers of all certification levels are invited to attend.
The cost includes course fee, materials, all SCUBA equipment, certification, and dives at The Living Seas (a $280.00 value). The course will be conducted at The Living Seas at EPCOT, Walt Disney World - Orlando, FL on
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Academics & Exam... and on
Sunday - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Confined Water Skills & Open Water Dives.
The amount of time required for each day may vary. .
Deposit: $100.00 Due at time of registration
Note: Balance due 30 days prior to course start date. If registration
is within 30 days of course start date, balance is due in full at
time of registration.
