Sure fishing is a problem there, much more than 'too many divers'.
But also marine life will vary from dive to dive, week to week, month to month, year to year. Conclusions based on 1 person on 2 different trips can give an impression, but no more than that. Actually I would say for variety and numbers of marine life season 2013-2014 was better than 2012-2013.
