Dive Operators in Cabo San Lucas

We are planning on diving Los Cabos the end of July 2005. We are looking into Manta - Custom Scuba Diving Expeditions. http://www.caboscuba.com. Anyone used them before? Have good/bad feedback? We are thinking of doing their excursions to Cabo Pulmo and Gordo Banks. Thanks!

I used Amigos Del Mar and will probably use them again this October.
Here is my trip report. Gordo Banks is a cool dive, didn't get to do Cabo Pulma.

Sorry, I have not personally used them. It is my opinion that all the ops in Los Cabos are good (kind of like Scuba Diving magazine equipment reviews )

The ones with some internet presence are: (not a comprehensive list, but they either have a direct web page, or a sub-web page) (list is arranged sort-of-South-to-North)

I've personally used Baja Dive & Land's End Divers, and was happy with both.

For Cabo Pulmo, you might also consider Baja Wild (they are not a dive-op, but rather an excursion specialist; they will van you up to Cabo Pulmo), or arranging your own (use either Cabo Pulmo Divers, or Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort. The latter will accept credit cards).

Most of the excursions from Cabo San Lucas to Cabo Pulmo usually contract with one of the Cabo Pulmo dive ops for boat, boat captain, & DM.

I would STRONGLY recommend Manta! My wife & I are @ to use them for the 4th time. Small operation, so therefore can give a lot of personal attention (if you desire), but give you plenty of space, if they see you're experienced. Even w/a troublesome family of 4 (mom,dad,bro, & sis -- story for another time) to Cabo Pulmo, they kept their cool, both above & underwater. Kiki (especially -- most dives with) and Rodrigo (3-4 dives) are great, Master (boat cap'n) is cool, and Eran (owner) is busy (running a business is not always sunsets & margaritas!) and very personable as well. Very laid-back, relaxed diving style AND extremely competent. No worries!
Cabo Pulmo is (was - last year) great, and highly recommend that dive. The trip to the sea lion rookery @ Isla Espirito Santu is incredible! Two 1+ hr dives (15-20') w/sea lions tugging on your fins, fetching rocks, etc.
I'm jealous you're going before me! I might quit my job, so I can leave sooner!
