Just checking on suggestions for dive operations. My wife and I usually stay on the east end and love Ocean Frontiers. A few months ago we stayed at the Marriott on SMB and dove with Neptune. They were very good, but after reading all the fabulous reviews for Neptune I wasn't as impressed as I thought I should be.

I suppose we could rent a car and drive out to east end (we are staying at the Hyatt). However, I was looking for a possible suggestion that maybe I was not aware of.

I always enjoyed Ocean Frontiers as I thought their service was top notch. Didn't know what compared on the SMB end.

Kind regards,

JL

I've read many good reports about Wall to Wall Diving and Indigo Divers.

The only SMB area shop I've used was Fisheye. They were ok, but nothing fantastic that made me want to go back. I prefer the East End.

7 mb has some great dives . We really enjoyed off the wall divers. Small boat, personalized service , 6 divers or less. Danny tends to go where you want him to and it is very easy to customize trips. He keeps a boat in the North sound and will do the north wall weather permitting. that being said, the diving is still better on the east end, although the north wall is pretty damm good.
We stayed at 7mb and did most of our dives out of there. We also took a couple of days to drive to the east end. It made for long days, but, it was worth it.

Neptunes Divers is pretty good as well, they pick-up from all of the hotels on SMB I believe, and carry a max. of 8 divers.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the input. Really appreciate it.

We are big fans of Divetech. You are more likely to dive the north wall with them than with most SMB operations (although its really depends on the weather/ocean conditions). I believe that they will pick up divers at most SMB hotels (or if you have a car its not that tough a drive over to the Divetech shop at Cobalt Coast.) Email Nancy at Divetech with any questions.
