They have the best fast boats on the island ,

You should never say best. It makes everyone want to argue. (like me. I think I have video passing one of the sharks, which isnt to say they aren't fast.) Great, one of the best or what not is fine.

Fast is often relative to how much fuel you are willing to burn on a given day. The Skinny Shark seems a little faster when Steve is in Fairbanks. Last month Pemex's watered down Magna (regular) was going for about $3.50 USD a gallon.

Blue Angel has a "cruiser's/main landers" boat that late mid-morning, I think at 11am, but not positive.

not sure if Tres Pelicanos does, they only have 2 boats, and depending on how full they are for the early morning dive, they might not be able to do a mid-morning dive, but I would HIGHLY recommend them when you could make a dive with them. if Steve had a enough people wanting to do a later morning dive and the 2 "Sharks" were booked, I'm sure he would rent one, which I imagine most dive ops would if they had enough divers to justify the cost.

I'm sure Dive Paradise does, they have lots of boats and schedule options.

Check with Bottom Time Divers, BlueXTSea, Dive with Martin, Liquid Blue, Living Underwater.

Depending on what time your ship leaves that day and what time the dive boats get back, an afternoon dive with almost anyone might work.

I completely agree with you Chief. Carlos's 400 horses tops my 300 and he get a blast out of passing me.

Well, the new 4 strokes are not as fast as the old 2 bangers, but I hope they will improve speed (and the ride) when I deliver the extensions. (I won't mention who ordered the short shafts, but it starts with M and rhymes with a kind of hatchet......)

The Shark is a really nice boat. Seems to ride nice in the water and is one of the fastest boats.

Fast is really a joke. Fastest only means you have to charge more or go broke, or leave your customers stranded when you break a crankshaft. Been there, done that…anything over 25 kts is wasting something, maybe boosting egos?

Reminds me of that song "Smoke on The Water". Dat da da ... Dat da da-da. I am still waiting for Coz to start an annual "Dive boat drag race festival" and see who the winner will be. That being said, I have no interest in being on board for such a race. Fast enough is good enough for me on board Skinny Shark and Loan Shark. As a boater myself with a Yamaha 4-stroke hung on my transom, I've stood beside Chan Fran on Skinny Shark and seen "almost" 40MPH with plenty of RPM's to spare.
