This is my first post too, after I singup on Jan. 7, 09. I have done A lot diving at Coeur D Alene Lake, And I have dive at Lake Pend Oreille, at Eagle Boat Launch Aera, Bayview, Talache, and Trestle Creek.

Welcome G. I have family in Sandpoint. Although I can't imagine diving up there. I myself live and dive in the warm waters of Florida. Welcome to the board.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a cabin at Pend O'Reille near Garfield Bay. Is there any diving worthwhile in the lake? Dive shops in or near Sandpoint?

Welcome abord dagbja

If you into deep diving, From Garfield Bay just south is Talache, Talache is known for underwater wall that go down to 800 feet, Which I been down to 130 feet there, and our loco tech divers been below 200 feet there too.
East of Sandpoint on Hy 200 5 miles west of Hope is Trestle Creek, has underwater train wreck of 2 box cars, You can check out this link The Train Wreck Dive
At south end of Lake Pend Oreille, is Eagle Boat Launch, Witch is in Farragut State Park where loco dive shops have there OW class, not much to see there.
For shallow diving there is ferry wreck at Laclede in Pend Oreille River.
As for dive shops I have herd of one in Sandpoint I don't know if is in business on not, There is two in Coeur D Alene and one in the Spokane Valley.
