I have read several posts about diving Moalboal. Some people claim it is wonderful and top 5 location in PI and others say it is not worth going to. I am a bit confused where or not to now to go to Moalboal.

What is the real true about diving Moalboal?

Almost all dives in Moalboal are wall dives with a slight current; the visibility is generally good. Most dive sites do not have a lot of colourful corals with the exception of Pescador Island which has an excellent coral garden in the 3 to 10 meter depth range, with walls stretching to 60 meters depth, there is a large cave at 18 to 35 meter and the visibility is often 30 meters or more.
The majority of all dive sites can be reached within 10 minutes, from small bankas, the entry from these are normally the easy roll back entry.
If you are into wall dives and you like a silent place without surfers, speedboats etc. and without much night life then Moalboal is the place.
I was there last year and if the above appeals to you then I can recommend Moalboal.
