Dive Mike, Playa del Carmen

[PARADISE HUNTER]

Has anyone dove with Dive Mike in Playa lately? I know that Mike is no longer with the business and wondered how some recent experiences were.

I'm interested in bottom times, dm experience, were the divers seperated by skill level, quality of rental gear?.

I did a three dives with them a couple of weeks back, no problems. We didn't use any rental gear, the other diver was a tech diver from Toronto, and I thought the DM on the daytime dives was Mike. The DM on the night dive was a cave instructor, I think.

Thanks Ron! Sounds like you had small advanced group. Did you get some nice bottom times?

I think about an hour per dive. The daytime dives were fairly deep, the Mama Nina and a deep reef dive to the south, and the night dive was more shallow. Both DMs commented how little work we were to dive with, as opposed to the average holiday group.
