Hi,

I'm looking to go on a dive trip sometime within the next 2 weeks. I've dove Thailand, Malaysia, and Burma, all were fantastic but I'm looking to go someplace new on this trip. I've never been to the Philippines but have been told that Cebu or Palawan are the place to go. Can anyone recommend a resort there that has good shore diving (unlimited) and also boat diving in Cebu or the Palawan region.

Now is the diving season in Philippines, correct? Trying to avoid rainy seasons. I'm open to other suggestions, possibly areas in Indonesia if we're in an area that is not in the rainy season. Thanks!

Christmas Island (Indian Ocean) - it's still whale shark season I believe...

Eric,

I am going on a Similans LA in about two weeks (Feb 7-11). If your interested PM and I can send you the details. I am leading a small group. I realize you may have done something similar but figured it worth putting out just in case.

Safe diving,
