I'm a Fish!
Can anyone recommend the type/brand/model of a dive light to use when searching for fish under the rocks and little "caves" while spearfishing (free diving) during DAYTIME please? Dive environment is usually bright days with good vis. (around 10 - 15 meters).

You may want to attach the light to the muzzle of your gun. Usually once you light up the fish, you'll have just a second to pull the trigger and make the shot. There are a number of really good spearfishing light kits available, but it would be helpful to know what model - make of gun you have an also do you carry any side shafts with it.

If your goal is to look under ledges and into little caverns during the day, you'll want a dive light with a narrow beam angle (< 12 degrees). You'll also probably want to stay away from dive lights under 200 lumens. Give some thought to your battery preferences too (rechargeable vs. alkaline vs. CR123), as there are advantages to each type. There are a number of quality brands that make torches in those categories including Intova Tovatec and Bigblue.

Good luck with the spearfishing!

Can you please give me information on what is available on these kits and where to get them?

You didn't say what kind of gun you have, because all of the light packages are for different mounts. You may want to just make it simple by drilling holes in your gun and attaching it with nylon ties or screws. Some of the kits are like this:

Cudjoe Sales - LITE CLIP BLACK SDS1 - FITS RIFFE POLE SPEARGUNS

Speargun Light Brackets and Camera Brackets | BTS Manufacturing | BTS Manufacturing

Check out Ray Odor. He's based in Tampa Florida and makes quality gear. Here is the address for the page on his site that has a flashlight mount that you won't have to drill your gun. New Page 0
