Hi,
I have a boat with Dive Platform, did beef it up,but my dive ladder sucks, any DIY ideas, hate to go out and spend big money for a SS christmas tree set up,would be nice, but well too much$$$$$$$$$.
My ladder at this time pushes into the transom of the boat as you climb out.so looking for any ideas "fresh water".Thanks
Brad

I am also looking for some ideas on a ladder/platform. Right now I have ladder that hooks over the side of the boat. I have a early '80s Chapparral with an I/O.

Here is a pick of the back of my boat for anyone that might have some ideas.

Some boats have a combination normal and christmas tree. Just the last one or two steps are christmas tree, the rest are normal.

Gives you a place to stand and take off fins, but is stronger than an all-christhmas tree ladder of the same weight.
