Dive Key West around end of Aug.

I am starting this thread as an alternative to the "Dive Key West around Halloween" idea. From what I saw, a lot of folks would rather look for inexpensive accomodations (condo, etc.) If you don't look to participate in the Fests around Halloween, August will be a much better deal - more diving, less tourists, cheaper rates.

So, I propose that those of us who don't have "relatives" in Florida and would like to hit the best time for diving organize something "for the last minute".
